Making Mom Proud

This Mother's Day, give the best gift of all: bold action on climate change.

Mother's Day weekend (May 9-11) is our chance to expand the climate movement—to invite parents, young people and community groups to come together and send a powerful message that resonates with our political leaders. We all share the same cause—the welfare of future generations—and together, we can make climate action a moral imperative for our elected officials.

Join together with members of your community this Mother's Day to to draw or paint a picture of what's most important to you in the face of climate change.  You'll send a personal and compelling portrait for climate action to members of Congress.

We'll send you everything you need to know to plan your gathering.

All you need is a large piece of fabric, some markers or paint, and the help of your friends, family and local community organizations—church groups, elementary schools, gardening clubs.   When you're done, we'll take the massive tapestry to Washington, D.C. to spotlight your work at a high-profile press event.
