2009 is our year to make a difference on climate change in the United States – but only if we seize the opportunities before us. Over the next couple of months, the 1Sky campaign is thrilled to be partnering with United We Serve and Grist Magazine to bring service projects to your community that will create the change we seek. Ever want to educate your neighbors in the ways of energy conservation? Interested in learning more about how to live sustainably yourself? This summer, 1Sky, Grist, and Serve.gov will work with you to provide the conservation solutions your community is looking for to raise the bar on healthy neighborhoods in the face of global warming. We'll be asking you to recruit a friend or two, and start hitting all the homes in your neighborhood, just like during the Obama campaign. We'll connect you with lead organizers on the ground who can help track the difference you are making, as well as tap you into a larger network of climate folks in your area. Ready to start?
